First Grade Assembly
Wednesday October 27th
First grade will be celebrating United Nations Day on Wednesday October 27, 2010 . On that day we will present an assembly for the entire school and afterwards, around we will be inviting you to watch your child.
Children may wear national costumes to school from their own country or any costume representing a national dress on this day. If your child does not have a national costume to wear, he/she may wear clothes with the national colour from your country.
Supporting your Child at Home
In First Grade we are studying cultures of children in our classes and comparing our cultures to German culture. Please discuss with your child his/her country or countries of origin. We will be doing many activities in the coming weeks and the children will need this information.
